The Magnificent Trip!

All Extension students are so lucky because we could visit 6 states and Washington D.C. during both semesters. Say 'Wow!' How cool! I can't believe that! the sixth state for us was Oregon. Actually it was a last trip that we can go on together. I had a really good time on the Portland trip.

Oregon was similar to Seattle. The atmosphere was peaceful, so I could relax a lot. Usually it rains most days in Oregon, however, it had never rained during our trip:) That's nice! How powerful Extension power is! We could control the weather...? I'm not sure though. I enjoyed this trip very much.

Saturday was the longest day for us but also it was the most exciting day! I was very happy because there is NO sales tax in Oregon! It is very important to us. Before this trip, I intended to save money but I couldn't. I bought a bag and a wallet. I liked them light away. We had lots of chances for shopping. One of them was at Powell's book store. It was huge! I was happy and made a list of books that I wanted before I went there, however, there were tons of books, so I was excited but also I was very upset and coufused. I couldn't see the books on the top shelves because they were too high. There was a ladder, so perhaps no one could see them. We didn't have enough time to look for books. Therefore, I found only one book that I wanted. I looked for books seriously, so my eyes were really tired. However, it was a very good time.

Besides this, we had a special event on Saturday. It was a NBA game! It was absolutely fabulous! I looove basketball, so I couldn't believe it when I heard that we could watch a NBA game. One of my dreams came true. My brothers also love basketball, so they envied me. Of course, I bought some sovenirs for them. I'm sure that they will like those souvenirs. I was extremely excited as soon as I entered the arena. There were many people, and the arena was filled with excitement and liveliness. The game was so much fun becuase it was a close game. The suspense was killing me. HA HA... :) I could see some dunk shots. That was super COOL! That made the audience enthusiastic. Watching this NBA game was like a dream. I can't believe that I had this experience even now. It was an amazing experience for me, and I will never forget it.

I really want to thank my parents because they gave me such a wonderful chance to come here. I could make lots of great memories in America. Also, I want to express my appreciation to Emily and Christopher. Thanks to them, we enjoyed the trip. 'Hey, Extension students! We are the happiest girls in the world! Don't you think so?'
