On the first day, we visited Central Washington University. At the school we joined a Japanese class to share Japanese culture each other. Our topic is Japanese houses, so we showed some pictures of Japanese modern houses and traditional houses to our group. Then our conversation partners who were American and Taiwanese enjoyed looking at the pictures. I was so happy because they were interested in our topic. However I noticed that to explain Japanese cultures to foreigner who don't know any Japanese cultures is so difficult. There are many unknown words for them and if they have never seen Japan and Japanese cultures, it is so hard for them to image what we say. After we explain to them about Japanese houses, they asked some questions to us which we hadn't noticed before. I also had a good chance to hear foreign people's opinions for our topic. This opportunity was very useful for us to help us give good presentation in December. I enjoyed not only talking about our presentation topic but also talking about our opinions on many things. For example, we talked about religion, kanji, and our dream. I had a really good time with them.
On the final day, we visited Multhomah falls. The falls is 2nd highest falls in the north America. Wow!! Certainly the falls was so powerful and magnificent. The falls looked white because of the impetus of the falls. All of the extension students climbed the mountain with Chris who is one of our teachers to the top of the falls. However,it was quite hard because slope was so steep and it took 30~40 minutes from the bottom of the falls to the top of the falls. I love talking and often talk with my friends. However when I was walking this time, I talked nothing. Though scene from the top was good, so I was glad to climb the mountain.
I enjoyed a lot of things on this trip. We can get wonderful experiences through trip. I will never forget these marvelous memories.
