Contented trip

I went on the Portland trip from November 8th to November 11th. I had never been to Oregon states before. I was looking forward to visiting there, because we had a lot of shopping time. On the Southwest tirp, I couldn't have shopping time so much. I went to many places, for example, Central Washington University, Mary hill Museum, Pioneer Place Center etc. I really enjoyed all of these places very much.

My best memory of the trip is watching NBN basketball game. Before I went to this arena, I didn't know about the NBN. When I heard abou NBN, I felt very surprised and excited. I had never seen a pro basketball game before. Of course I cheerd for portland team. Basketball is fast sport. Although my seet was very far from court, I could see the ball with naked eyes. I could also see dunk shot. I was impressed by a good player. He looked like a hero. His name is Roy. Most spectators seemed to like him. Of course Portland won!! I was happy and excited.
I also enjoyed shopping. I went to Powell's City of Books. It is the largest independent new and used bookstore in the world!! There were mamy books in this store. I could spend only one hour. It was too short. I coudn't look all books. There were not only English books but also Japanese books. I was very surprised. I could see Japanese books in Japanese in America. I bought two Japanese comic books in English and a novel. I will read these in Japan. At night I went to Pioneer Place Center. I could buy a lot of things there. I bought souvenirs for my family. I could find their favorite things in this place. I want to give these things when I go back to Japan. I also bought a iPod for me!! When I bought it, I worried for a long time. But I decided to buy it, because there is no tax in Oregon. I wanted to get iPod before, soI was very happy. My small dream came true.

On Portland trip I had good memories. I could buy a lot of things and I could go many places. I like Portland very much. It is unforgettable memories for me.
