TITANIC - A Dream Ship -

My absolute favorite movie is TITANIC. It seems so usual that you may want to say that you can recommend more interesting movie to me. However, you can’t make me change my mind because TITANIC is the most perfect movie for me in all of the world. Jack and Rose, the main characters are completely ideal for me, and the story is also terrific. The more you watch this movie, the more you will know the greatness of TITANIC.

First, I want to say that Jack is perfect for me. When I watched TITANIC for the first time, Jack was just a gentle and cute guy, but I was wrong. Jack is gentle and cute, of course, but he has more important specialties. He sees people, not only outside, but also the inside of people. For example, when he saw Rose for the first time, he must have thought she was his destined woman, but he also must have noticed that she was like a bird that was not allowed to fly, and he must have thought he had to release her to the big sky. He also cherishes his lover. He never gave up on her in spite of the fact that he was dying. He may have known that he would die when he found out that the ship would sink. Moreover, although the water was freezing, he tried to encourage her to survive. He also takes his lover to a new world for her. Because of Jack ,Rose got to know the world and freedom. For example, he took her to a dance party for the lower class. He also taught her how to spit. That’s a little weird, but she would have never known that if she hadn’t met him. Jack is totally my ideal guy. I know that it’s almost impossible to marry a guy like him, but I really hope I can do it.

You will think that Jack is great, but you may not think about Rose, or you may envy her because Jack loves her. However, I want you to know that Rose is also wonderful. I like her honesty. At first, she hesitated to love Jack because of her situation, but after she noticed that the most important person was Jack, she never left him, and she tried to be honest to her mind. You have to be very strong if you want to be honest to your mind. I am very weak, so I sometimes tell a lie or do something dishonest to make myself look like a good person. I wish I could be honest and strong like her. She also has a very strong will. For example, when she was looking for help to rescue Jack, she didn’t give up in spite of the fact that people never tried to help her, and she was alone in the dark ship. I think I could not do it if I were her. She also kept promises that she made with Jack. She didn’t give up surviving, she had a lot of children, she lived for a long time, and she did a lot of things such as riding a horse, flying on a small plane, etc; which we can see on the ending of the movie. I really want to be a person who has a strong will like her.

I also love this story. Almost all romance movies finish with a happy ending. I like happy endings, but TITANIC doesn’t have it; however, it gives us dreams. For example, I want to live for a long time, and I want to try to do everything I want to do because I may be living in a small world like Rose was at first. I want to see the big world. Then I was impressed when I saw the scene when Rose found the big diamond in her pocket. Her fiancé tried to keep it, but he couldn’t. Things choose people. Finally, I like the last scene. Rose goes to Jack, who is waiting for her in the same place he used to wait for her, surrounded with a lot of people beatifying her to be with her lover, which didn’t become true. This must have been their dream.

TITANIC gives me not only goose bumps, but also dreams. I watch this movie whenever I am worried or thinking about something, or I am disappointed. Whenever I watch this movie, I always get something very important. Then I refresh and I change my mind. This movie tells me as long as I live, I can do anything even if I make a big mistake. The movie that can do it, is only TITANIC for me. TITANIC is the best movie. However, I have a complaint. That is unfortunately, Leonardo DiCaprio is getting older. Oh my goodness!!!!!
