⑥ Senses

No alarm clock, no plans. The clock showed 1 o'clock p.m. when I woke up. Where am I? I was confused with drowsy eyes. Yes! I am in my room. Finally, the Southwest Trip is over. It was quite different from the East Coast Trip for me because I enjoyed it with six senses.

First of all, I enjoyed the trip with my tongue and my ears. I ate a lot of great food on the trip, such as Mexican food, Pueblo's bread and kabob. Above all, the dinner in which I ate kabobs is one of my good memories because of my funny friend. There were some singers who worked at the restaurant. Their singing voices created a nice atomosphere to enjoy dinner and the funny friend joined suddenly into dance with them . Moreover, with a serious face! All of us could not help bursting out in laughter. She added the best spice with the kabobs.

Second, it was really dry and dusty especially when I visited Taos and Acoma Pueblo. Our teachers often told us that drink a lot of water on the bus. When I got off the bus to visit there, I breathed fresh air with lots of sand, so my nose was full of sand. Oh, that's too bad. It's also one of my good memories and experiences of me.

Third, the biggest plan on the trip was to visit the Grand Canyon. I can't explain enough about what I saw there. It was absolutely over my head! I don't know how I should describe it. It must not stay in pictures with only people who have visited there to understand how marvelous it is.

Fourth, I couldn't believe my eyes because of the height of the Saguaro Cactus. How weight were they? 8 tons?! Wow. Say, wow. Wow! I shouted because a spine of the cactus stung my left leg. It was hard like a toothpick. I took one of them for a souvenir for my father.

Finally, I felt something strange when I had fallen asleep at the first hotel in Santa Fe. I saw something bad. At the moment, I froze and lost words with my eyes open. I hesitated if I should say that to my roommate because she's always afraid of ghosts. However, I couldn't help but say it. If I didn't say it, she would sleep the horrible bed. It's never used any more since I fell asleep. Yes, I saved her!

I experienced a lot and made tons of fantabulous memories on the trip. I have six keen senses and it made me super tired. Thanks for the rest day! Now, I'm going to die because of huge homework. Haha! S.O.S! Someone help me. I have no time. Oh, my incredible senses must rescue me. Yahoo! Hurray!
