A memorable visit

I went to the Grand Canyon that I looked forward to seeing the most. It was the 5th day on the trip that I could see it. I looked forward to going to see it during the trip. However, at the first sight of it, I was struck by it less than I thought. Although I thought that it was massive and the landscape was beautiful, and I took a lot of pictures of it, I was not moved to tears by it. Hunger was beaten by emotion, and I had a headache because of the sun. I also wanted to go to the restroom at that time.Yet, I shook with excitement when I saw the rising sun at the Grand Canyon. I woke up at 5a.m. and woke up to the spot where I could see the rising sun well in cold without breakfast. Then I waited for the sun to come out for a long time. My eyes were almost closing because of sleepiness and cold, but at the moment, the Grand Canyon illuminated by the sun came into my view and I was wide awake. I was not looking in the direction that the sun came out, but I turned my back to the sun, so when the sun came out, what I saw first was the Grand Canyon colored in pink or purple with the sunlight. I was so moved by it that I remained standing without speaking for a while. I almost cried. When I gazed at it with rapture, I didn't feel cold or hungry. After that, when I turned to the sun, I was surprised at the dazzle of the sun. I had never seen such a sparkling sunshine. There was no building there, so the sun was lighting everywhere I could see. I really felt the earth was a globe at that time. I was glad to seeing such a miraculous sight. I will never forget about that.

Dear Hiromi,

Your descriptions and detailed memory f the Grand Canyon trip helped me to remember when I was there so many years ago.
Thank you.

I think I will take my own family there, so they might also enjoy what you have seen.
