Today I saw my penpal!! I had been looking forward to seeing her. My penpal is cute girl. Her letter is pretty, so I wanted to see her soon.
I went to her school by bus. First I was nervous because I had to do presentation about my topic. But when I saw my penpal, I forget my worry. My penpal is very friendly. She had two penpals. So we introduced ourselves each other. Next we did Sudoku. I have never done it. I didn't know how to do, so she told me how to do about it. We tried to do together, but it was difficult. I couldn't do it very well. But my penpal and friend could do it smoothly. Then I respected them. I want to try to do Sudoku by myself soon.
After playing Sudoku we ate lunch. My friend and I had own lunch. Today's lunch was sandwich. I felt it is delicious. My penpal ate lasagna. But other students ate hamburger. I asked her why they were eating different lunch. Then she answered there are different menu, So students can choose. When I heard about this I envied her. because when I was in elementary school, I could not choose my own lunch. In America I learned different things between Japan and America. It was interesting.
After lunch I shared with her my presentation. My topic is about a Japanese local summer festival. It is difficult for me to explain it to her. But she listened to my resentation well. I could do it calmly. But I thought I need to practice more. Next we played with paper balloon. She enjoyed this, so I was happy,too. She was very active!! We did kind of volleyball. It was exciting.
I thought it was short! time passed soon. I wanted to play with her. But we will visit on December. I'm looking forward to seeing her again.
