What a hard trip!!

I like my American life in MFWI. I can go to many interesting places. I could visit Seattle, East coast and Southwest and I learned a lot about American culture and history. This time, I went to Portland and I learned about pioneer in America.

I visited the End of Oregon Trail and there were a lot of interesting exhibits. I was surprised when I saw a wagon that pioneers used to bring thier luggage. It was very small!! It was smaller than my imagination. I can't bring all my luggage that need through travel for six mouths. However, Pioneers had to do that. Also there were many danger such as desease, Native Americans, hard weather and hard trails. I can't do that and I don't want to do that. It was a hard trip! Pioneers wanted to go to new land even if there were many dangerous. Also there was no security to live safety in new land. I think they were brave, positive, opposite and a little crazy!!

Also, I really enjoyed all shopping!! There was no sales tax!! I bought some souvenirs for my family. I could buy many wonderful souvenirs for them without high sales tax. Yahoo!! I was deeply satisfied. If I had another opportunity to go there, I would like to go!!
