☆Exciting First Experience☆

I went Downtown with my friend last Saturday by bus. We left our dormitory at 9:00 in the morning, so it was chilly out side. We don't like cold weather, but we had to go Downtown in the morning because we had a plan to see a movie! I've wanted to do that last session, but I didn't because I didn't have confidence to absorb the story of a movie with no subtitle.

I don't have much English confidence yet, but I decided to try to see a movie in a movie theater. We saw the movie "Becoming Jane". My teacher recommended this movie to us because Extension students are now reading "Emma" which was written by Jane Austen. This movie is the story of her life. I thought "I want to see it!" because I wanted to try to see a movie in a movie theater, and I thought it would be a good experience for me. Actually, I was very excited! I couldn't understand all of story, but the pictures on the screen helped me.

I think I had a very good experience, and I could gain a little self-confidence by watching this movie. I want to see another movie in a movie theater, so I'm going to do that, and I'll plan to see a movie before noon because I can see one for only $5 before that time. Watching this movie was a very good experience for me, and I could gain a little self-confidence.
