Defferences between Japan and America

When I came to America in the spring term,I experienced culture shock, and I found there were many differences between Japan and America.

First of all, it was very dry in America. On the contrary, we had high humidity in Japan. Therefore,it was difficult for me to get used to dryness in America because my skin was itchy and got rough, and moreover,my throat and my nose hurt easily.I had a lot of water not to catch a cold.It was the most important thing for me to live healthily in America. On the other hand,I felt so humid that I felt uncomfortable in Japan.I missed- dryness in America during this summer vacation.

Second, food in America was completely different from Japanese food.I was glad to eat Japanese food in Japan because it was much more healthy and delicious for me and I didn't like American food very much.American food contained a lot of fat and sugar, so I sometimes had upset stomach. However,I was used to American food,so I felt Japanese one was not satisfactory to me when I went back to Japan.American foods were very big!!

Finally, I liked supermarkets in America because they were more interesting than Japan's one. Cash register stands in America had conveyor belts,so that both of clerks and customers didn't need to move shopping baskets by their hands. There were no such a cash register stand. There were also self-service registers in America. We could pass products through the register by ourselves and inserted money in the slot.or inserted a cash card and subscribed to the machine. Then,American stores carried much more snacks than Japanese ones. They carried all sorts of goods and foods,so I never lost interest in them.

The fall term is the second time for me to come to America, but I still have the same feelings that I had in the spring term.Although I was uncomfortable at the differences, such as climate and food last time,I'm getting used to them now.
