I went to Eastern Washington University in Conversation class on Friday September 28Th. We had only 2 and half hours including the time on the way to and from Eastern Washington University. It took about 20 minutes by car.
When we arrived at the University, we first went to the students' cafeteria at the school, and met a man who was our guide. He is 41 years old now, and he has worked for 20 years as guide. He took us from place to place on campus; the buildings and the classrooms. He told us a lot of information, with lucid explanation. They helped me to understand more about the University. After a short tour, we asked him some questions because we had to turn in a handout for homework, and he answered them willingly. He was so cool!
Next, we went to the book store at the school, and our teacher gave us some free times, so we could look around the book store and buy somethings. I bought two files. There were so cool! They have red and black, and there is a eagle on it which is a mascot of Eastern Washington University. I decided to buy them immediately when I saw. I bought not only these things but also some chocolates because they had Halloween packaging. They were so cute!!☆ I haven't eaten them yet because I feel that it isn't eat time now. I really enjoyed my time in the book store.
Finally, I ate lunch in the students' cafeteria with my friends. I ate some fishes and some French fries. I wanted to eat all of my food there, but I had no time, so I used dogie bag to take out my left overs. I saw many Japanese students there. I also saw many students who are from another countries. I felt this University is very nationality school, but atmosphere is comfortable.
This day was so busy because we didn't have much more free time, but I had a sense of fulfillment because I could go on a little tour, do some shopping, and eat lunch there. I heard that we will join some classes with students of Eastern Washington University next time, so I'm looking forward to doing that!!
