MFWI vs MWU

I have noticed some differences between MWU in Japan and Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute in Spokane. First, classes in MFWI are very small. They have about seven to fifteen people, so we need to be active and we have to give some opinions. Also, the teachers are very friendly, and they oversee our activities and homework gently, so we can correct our mistakes. We often can talk with teachers at lunch or visit them during their office hours. That's fun!! We can study cheerfully because the classes are active! Additionally, we can have good experiences that we can't have in Japan. For example, we can go to other universities in America and communicate with Americans. Also, we have to speak English during every class. It’s good for us to improve speaking skills. However, there is a lot of homework here at MFWI. It is hard, but it's good for us. There is a lot to gain by working hard. Therefore, they are nice classes!! On the other hand, most of the classes at MWU are rather big. But all we do in class is just listen to the teacher's lecture, so sometimes it's boring. In those classes we don't often need to give our opinions. However, there are also many good points at MWU in Japan. In conclusion, there are many differences between MWU in Japan and MFWI in Spokane. But, we can learn a lot from both of them. It depends on us. I prefer MWU classes to MFWI classes because I am sure I can make good memories at MFWI. I am enjoying American life!
