One of the most different things between MWU and MFWI classes is a language difference. In MFWI, I had two classes a week to speak only English with native speakers. However, in MFWI, I have to speak only English in every class. In MFWI, teachers are ALL native speakers. At first, MFWI classes were very difficult and hard for me. I have to understand what teachers and classmates say in English, to say my opinions and ideas in English and to take notes in English. These are still difficult for me.
However, I prefer MFWI classes to MWU classes because I like MFWI classes atmosphere. In MWU, sometimes classes have a tense atmosphere, but I have never felt such an atmosphere in MFWI because teachers are friendly and kind. MFWI Classes atmosphere is also extremely friendly. Classes are made up of a small number of students. I think it is one reason that classes have a warm atmosphere. Because of that, I don't have to be afraid of mistakes in classes and I can speak English with confidence.
Also I like a lot of activities in MFWI, including many trips, visiting to local schools or universities, home stay, to join community events and to experience American event. There are plenty of great activities, and maybe I can't experience such a wonderful activity any other place than MFWI. In MFWI, I can learn not only English but also American culture. Therefore MFWI is a fabulous place to study English and American cultures. Moreover, I learned that to ENJOY is the most important thing to study another language. In Japanese school, I can't think study is pleasant. However in here, to study English is a very enjoyable thing!! I like MWU, of course, but I LOVE MFWI!!
